  • Mo Salah is the 4/11 favourite to be awarded this season's PFA Player of the Year award!
  • Phil Foden is the favourite for the Young Player of the Year award after winning the Premier League's version
  • Other individual awards in football include the Ballon d'Or

Mo Salah is the 4/11 favourite to be awarded this season's PFA Player of the Year award!

Liverpool's Mo Salah is the 4/11 favourite to win this season's PFA Player of the Year award according to betting sites.

Salah has had a great season for Liverpool, winning both the FA and League Cup's in England and is the bookmaker's favourite to win this award.

PFA POTY Award Odds Probability
Mo Salah 4/11 73.3%
Kevin De Bruyne 2/1 33.3%
Son Heung Min 33/1 2.9%
Trent Alexander Arnold 50/1 2%

Last season's winner of the award Kevin De Bruyne who is one of the biggest earners in the Premier League has had another big year at Manchester City, helping them to win the Premier League title.

De Bruyne has won the Premier League Player of the Year award, but bookies don't think that this makes him favourite for this one.

Son Heung Min also features in the betting market and was the joint winner of the Golden Boot with Salah this season.

Mo Salah is the odds on favourite for the PFA Player of the Year award after another great year at Liverpool. Despite missing out on the Premier League and Champions League, Salah was joint top scorer in the league with Son Heung Min.

Phil Foden is the favourite for the PFA Young Player of the Year award

Manchester City's Phil Foden is the 4/9 favourite to be the PFA Young Player of the Year for the 2021/22 season.

Foden won the award last year in what felt like a proper breakthrough year for the young attacker and he's pushed on from that this year.

Winning the Premier League this season, Foden was awarded the Premier League's Young Player of the Year trophy at the end of May.

PFA YPOTY Odds Probability
Phil Foden 4/9 69.2%
Bukayo Saka 9/4 30.8%
Conor Gallagher 14/1 6.7%
Reece James 25/1 3.8%
Emile Smith Rowe 33/1 2.9%

Bukayo Saka has regularly featured as the second favourite in the market for this award, with the Arsenal youngster having a good season after his Euro's heartbreak last Summer.

Our report back in April spoke about how Saka had come into 2/1 in the betting market, and this hasn't chance in the last month with Foden further cementing his position as favourite.

Other individual awards in football include the Ballon d'Or

There are other individual awards given out in football, with the biggest of the lot being the Ballon d'Or award.

It's no surprise to football watchers that Karim Benzema is the heavy favourite for this award.

At odds of 1/20, no one comes remotely close to Benzema in the betting market after a massive last few months for the striker.

Benzema has single handedly won some massive Champions League games for Real Madrid and helped them become shock winners of the famous trophy.

Karim Benzema is the 1/20 favourite for the Ballon d'Or award, with the odds looking nailed on for the French forward to win it after a massive season at Real Madrid.
