Matt Bloomfield expected to take over at Luton Town

Current Wycombe manager Matt Bloomfield is set to take over at Luton Town according to reports with the Hatters needing to activate the 40-year-old's release clause.

TalkSPORT reported on Monday that Luton will trigger the £100,000 release clause after holding talks with Bloomfield over the weekend.

Luton are looking for a replacement for Rob Edwards after he left the club by mutual consent last week with the Hatters 20th in the Championship.
