Gary Rowett is now the odds-on favourite to take over at West Brom

Gary Rowett is now the bookies favourite at 4/5 to be the next West Brom manager with reports suggesting he wants to move closer to home.

Rowett has been away from his family as Millwall boss for the last three years and he is said to be interested in a move back to the Midlands.

BetVictor now make him odds-on to be the next West Brom manager, giving him a 55% chance of taking over according tot eh betting odds.

Former Huddersfield Town manager Carlos Corberan is currently second favourite to take over at West Brom next despite struggling at Olympiacos.

Corberan resigned from Huddersfield in July before taking over the Greek side, but was dismissed as manager after just 11 games in charge.

Roy Keane was favourite to take over at West Brom on Monday

Former footballer and current Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane was the bookies favourite to be the next West Brom Manager earlier this week.

Keane appeared to rubbish any rumours while appearing on Monday Night Football though, saying any rumours are nonsense.

The Irishman has had a string of assistant manager roles in the last decade, but hasn't managed a club since leaving Ipswich in 2011.
