Christophe Galtier the new 11/10 favourite to be next PSG manager
Current Nice manager Christophe Galtier is the new 11/10 favourite to be the next manager of Paris St Germain.
Galtier has been backed in from 12/1 to 11/10 with bookmakers in the last couple of weeks, with reports hotting up on his favouritism with the PSG hierarchy.
Current gaffer Mauricio Pochettino remains optimistic about staying in the role though, saying he "has one year left".
Next PSG Manager | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Christophe Galtier | 11/10 | 47.6% |
Jose Mourinho | 3/1 | 25% |
Zinedine Zidane | 3/1 | 25% |
Marcelo Gallardo | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Zinedine Zidane had long been courted with the PSG job, with all ties leading him to Paris and a return back to France.
Zidane has only managed Real Madrid in his managerial career, but won three Champions League's and two La Liga titles in his two spells at the club.
Former favourite Antonio Conte now out to 22/1 to take over in Paris
Antonio Conte was 2/1 to take over at PSG only as soon ago as the beginning of May as our report highlighted.
Fast forward a month and the Italian manager is now out to 22/1 to take over there, with his role at Spurs looking concrete as it stands.
With Tottenham's Champions League spot still up in the air at the time, reports of Conte moving to Paris were rife.
Now though it looks almost impossible as Tottenham look to spend money in the transfer market to strengthen Conte's squad.
Jose Mourinho has been a big market mover after reports linking him with the job
Jose Mourinho is the big mover in the market to take over at PSG next, coming in from 40/1 down to just 3/1.
Mourinho has been linked with the role after winning the inaugural Europa Conference League with current club Roma last season.
The Portuguese manager though looks like he's enjoying life in Rome and has really settled into life there well.
Mourinho's Instagram shows his love for the club already, with pictures like above outside the famous Colosseum showing his love with the fans.
