Julen Lopetegui moves into 6/4 to be the next Premier League manager to go

West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui has shortened even further into 6/4 to be the next Premier League manager to leave with betting sites continuing to offer odds on the sack race.

Lopetegui's odds were slashed last week from 12/1 into 9/4 to be sacked and those odds have shortened even further into just 6/4 now after the Hammers 0-0 draw at home to Everton on Saturday.

Massive questions have already been asked of Lopetegui with West Ham struggling to put in a performance under his management so far and that was emphasised in Saturday's match.

BetVictor's latest market has now moved the West Ham manager into favourite to be the next manager to go with the odds now putting him above Southampton boss Russell Martin to leave.

West Ham's odds have now been cut into 9/1 to be relegated this season

Betting odds are also available on the dreaded relegation battle this season and West Ham's odds have been slashed to 9/1 to go down after their poor start.

The Hammers sit in 14th place in the Premier League table with 12 points from their opening 11 games but have a 5 point cushion to 18th place Crystal Palace in the relegation zone.

Southampton are the heavy favourites to go down this year at 1/6 with Ipswich's odds improving after their stunning 2-1 away win to Tottenham on Sunday.

Plenty of free bet offers are available for the Premier League with enhanced odds and more set to be up after the international break.

Erik ten Hag was the first manager to leave this season

Dutch manager Erik ten Hag became the first Premier League boss to be sacked earlier this season after his Manchester United side were beaten by West Ham.

Pressure had continued to mount on Ten Hag's position in charge of United after poor performance after poor performance and the Old Trafford board finally pulled the plug on his time.

Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim has replaced Ten Hag as United manager with Ruud van Nistelrooy's interim spell in charge coming to an end with the Red Devils 3-0 win against Leicester on Sunday.
