  • Steven Gerrard is now 8/1 in the betting to be the first Premier League manager to leave

  • Frank Lampard remains 4/1 in the betting market with Jesse Marsch drifting out to 10/1

Steven Gerrard is now 8/1 in the betting to be the first Premier League manager to leave

Steven Gerrard has been backed into 8/1 from 20/1 last week with bookmakers to be the first Premier League manager to leave this season.

This comes after his Aston Villa side lost 2-0 to Bournemouth on the opening weekend of the Premier League season with a poor performance from the Villans.

Coral have brought his odds into 8/1 to leave first this season with Everton, Palace and West Ham coming up next in August for Villa.

First Premier League Manager to leave Odds Probability
Ralph Hasenhüttl
9/4 30.8%
Frank Lampard 4/1 20.0%
Brendan Rodgers
7/1 16.7%
Bruno Lage 8/1 11.1%
Steven Gerrard 8/1 11.1%

Brendan Rodgers has also seen his odds come in slightly and that will be due to his sides 2-2 draw with Brentford on Sunday.

Leicester have had a tough pre-season and have still not made any signings this Summer.

Steven Gerrard has now hit 8/1 in the betting market to be the first Premier League manager to leave this season following his side's 2-0 loss to Bournemouth at the weekend.

Ralph Hassenhuttl is the outright favourite at 9/4 to leave his role first

Ralph Hassenhuttl is now the outright favourite to be the first manager to leave at 9/4 after his side lost 4-1 to Tottenham on Saturday.

The Southampton manager has consistently been rumoured to be under pressure in his role at the Saints and that may continue this season.

Back in February earlier this year, Hassenhuttl hinted at his retirement from football once he leaves his role at Southampton.

Frank Lampard remains 4/1 in the betting market with Jesse Marsch drifting out to 10/1

Frank Lampard has been in and around the favourite in the betting market to be the first manager to leave and it's no change here.

Some bookies actually have Lampard as the favourite to go first, but Coral have him behind Hassenhuttl in the market.

Jesse Marsch has also been the favourite to go at one point in the last month but after Leeds 2-1 win over Wolves he's seen his odds drift massively.

Marsch is now 10/1 in the bookies odds to leave his role first this season and it looks like Leeds fans are happy with the manager.

Frank Lampard remains 4/1 in the betting market to leave first this season, but Leeds manager Jesse Marsch has seen his odds drift right out after his side's 2-1 win to Wolves at the weekend.
