Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom still odds-on favourite to be next manager to go

Paul Heckingbottom remains the odds-on favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave this season after his side lost again at the weekend.

Bookmakers have kept Heckingbottom as the clear favourite in the betting market to go with the Blades losing 3-1 to Fulham away at Craven Cottage.

The Blades really saw how little luck they have currently with their captain Chris Basham having a horrific ankle injury in the first half before a freak own goal put Fulham into a lead in the second half.

Luck only goes a bit of the way though and the situation is that the Blades are still winless in the Premier League and Paddy Power have Heckingbottom at 8/15 to be sacked next.

Man United boss Erik Ten Hag now second favourite despite his side coming back to win 2-1 against Brentford

Erik Ten Hag is now the second favourite in the betting market to be the next Premier League manager to go despite his Man United side coming back from a goal down to beat Brentford.

Saturday's game saw Man United struggle once more at Old Trafford just a few days after their Champions League defeat but an injury time brace from Scott McTominay saw the Reds win the game.

Despite that comeback though Ten Hag has shortened in the past week into just 5/1 to be the next manager to leave with the latest betting odds suggesting a 16% chance of him leaving.

Sheffield United and Luton both heavily odds-on to go down this season

Bookmakers have kept Sheffield United and Luton as the favourites in the Premier League relegation market after another weekend went by with both sides losing.

Luton hosted Tottenham in the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday and couldn't capitalise on Spurs going down to 10 men in the first half with some big chances missed.

Sheffield United's defeat to Fulham saw them remain the shortest price to go down with bookies putting them at 1/6 to go straight back down to the Championship.

Premier League Relegation 23/24 Odds Probability
Sheffield United
1/6 85.7%
Luton Town 1/5 83.3%
Bournemouth
6/4 40.0%
Burnley 15/8 34.8%
Everton
