Erik ten Hag is now the 2/1 favourite to be the first Premier League manager to leave after 3-0 loss to Liverpool

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is now the favourite with betting sites to be the first Premier League manager to leave this season after his side's humiliating 3-0 loss to rivals Liverpool on Sunday.

It was a case of men against boys at Old Trafford on Super Sunday with Erik ten Hag's side hardly having a sniff against Liverpool and boos were heard on multiple occasions from the home fans.

Substitutions were booed with fans unhappy that ten Hag brought off Alejandro Garnacho over Marcus Rashford and this was a big sign that the fans had started to turn on the manager.

BetVictor instantly cut the odds of ten Hag to be the next Premier League manager to go with the latest odds now putting him as the 2/1 favourite in the market.

Those odds suggest there's a 33% chance of the Dutch manager leaving his role first with the United board surely already looking at their options after back-to-back defeats.

Sean Dyche just behind him in market after Everton's dramatic defeat to Bournemouth

Sean Dyche sits as the second favourite in the betting market to be the first manager to leave after dramatic events at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

Everton put in a dominant display for 87 minutes with numerous chances to extend their 2-goal lead against Bournemouth wasted before a dramatic collapse.
