Neil Lennon early favourite to be the next Motherwell manager

Betting odds are now offered on the next Motherwell manager with the Scottish Premiership side looking for a new man to lead them after Stuart Kettlewell\s resignation.

Motherwell currently sit in 5th in the Scottish Premiership but a poor run of form has seen fans turn their back on Kettlewell with "personal abuse affecting his family" spoken of in the club's statement.

Now attention turns to who could take over at Motherwell next with Neil Lennon the early favourite for the job as they look to sign a replacement for Kettlewell.

Following behind Lennon is Scott Brown who currently manages Ayr United and it'd likely take a compensation figure to see him leave for Motherwell.

Stuart Kettlewell resigned as Motherwell manager on Monday

Motherwell are looking for a new manager after Stuart Kettlewell resigned from the role on Monday evening saying the personal abuse he had received after recent results was part of the reasoning why.

Kettlewell had Motherwell at 5th in the Scottish Premiership table but their current run of form has seen them win just one in nine and some fans start to turn.

The Scottish boss had been in charge of the club for two years but now his departure has left the club looking for a new man in charge.
