Mike Williamson is the 1/6 favourite to take over at MK Dons next
Betting is now available on who will be the next MK Dons manager after Graham Alexander was sacked on Monday morning after just 16 games in charge of the club.
Next MK Dons Manager | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Mike Williamson | 1/6 | 85.7% |
Karl Robinson | 7/2 | 22.2% |
Danny Cowley | 16/1 | 5.9% |
Lee Bowyer | 20/1 | 4.8% |
The Dons have not won any of their last 8 games which has seen them slide down to 16th in the table and a scathing attack on his players after their 2-2 draw against Barrow was the final nail in the coffin.
Bookmakers now are offering odds on who his replacement will be with figures such as former manager Karl Robinson featuring in the market.
BetVictor though already have a heavy favourite over who will takeover as manager with current Gateshead boss Mike Williamson currently 1/6 to takeover.

Graham Alexander sacked after just 16 games in charge
Graham Alexander was dismissed as MK Dons boss on Monday morning after his side drew 2-2 against Barrow despite going into injury time 2-0 up.
"It should be three points in the bag. But we have unbelievable ways of shooting ourselves in the foot," Alexander told the BBC after the game.
"I can't defend losing the three points. It's not a bunch of kids who hadn't played football before. Surely we understand we have to do this for this five minutes, or that for this five minutes, whatever you've been taught over the years?," he added.
That interview just added to the toxicity in the air between the fans and the club and seemingly left the board with no choice but to sack Alexander.

MK Dons are 5/1 to be promoted this season
Despite sitting in 16th place in League Two, MK Dons are still 5/1 to be promoted this season with those odds putting them as the 9th favourites to go up this season.
Stockport are currently favourites to get promoted this season with their odds at 2/5 to go up, with the American-owned Wrexham the second favourites.
Whoever comes in will have a big job on their hands with the board clearly having aspirations to go straight back up to League One after their shock relegation last season.
