Graham Potter and David Moyes are now joint favourites to be the next Leicester manager

Betting odds are now available on the next Leicester City manager after Steve Cooper was dismissed by the club on Sunday with betting sites already having firm favourites in the market.

Graham Potter and David Moyes both currently share favouritism in the betting odds to take over at Leicester next with bookmakers looking at who will take over the Foxes next.

Potter has been linked with many roles in the past months with the English manager without a job since leaving Chelsea in April 2023 and now could be the perfect opening for him to come back into football.

David Moyes was sacked as West Ham boss in the summer, a change that some fans were disappointed with, and he could also be a target for Leicester in the coming days.

BetVictor's place both Moyes and Potter as 7/4 joint favourites in the market with both given an implied probability of 36.4% to take over at Leicester next.

Steve Cooper was sacked by the Leicester board on Sunday

Leicester sacked Steve Cooper as manager on Sunday after a series of unconvincing performances including a home defeat to former manager Enzo Maresca's Chelsea in what turned out to be Cooper's last game in charge.

Despite giving Cooper a three-year contract, the Welsh manager lasted just five months in charge and now it looks likely that an appointment will be made this week for his replacement.

The Foxes had previously held talks with Graham Potter for the job before they appointed Cooper and it may well be the best option for them to reignite those talks now.
