Arne Slot is the new favourite at 13/8 to take over at Leeds next
Current Feyenoord manager Arne Slot is the bookies favourite at 13/8 to become the next Leeds Manager with the role vacant following Jesse Marsch's sacking.
Reports on Thursday morning suggest that Leeds have 'made an approach' for Slot to try and tempt him from the Feyenoord job to take over at Elland Road.
BetVictor instantly moved Slot into the favourite for the managerial role with a 38% chance of becoming Leeds' next manager according to the odds.
Next Leeds Manager | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Arne Slot | 13/8 | 38.1% |
Andoni Iraola | 3/1 | 25.0% |
Nuno Espirito Santo | 4/1 | 20.0% |
Neil Lennon | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Marcello Gallardo | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Andoni Iraola is the second favourite in the market with Leeds' sporting director Victor Orta reportedly a big fan of the manager.
Iraola is the current coach of Rayo Vallecano and has been linked with the Leeds job since Marsch was sacked at the start of the week.
Former favourite Carlos Corberan signed a new deal at West Brom earlier in the week
Carlos Corberan was the short priced favourite for the Leeds job back on Tuesday with reports saying that he could well take over at Leeds.
Since then though the Spanish manager has signed a new contract at current club West Brom with the baggies in great form since he took over in October.
Corberan was a coach at Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa before leaving in 2020 to take over at Huddersfield where he lost to Nottingham Forest in the play-off final.

Leeds now 9/4 to go down after their 2-2 draw against Man United on Wednesday
Leeds have drifted in the betting to 9/4 to be relegated this season after an impressive 2-2 draw away at Man United on Wednesday night.
Leeds were 2-0 up at Old Trafford but goals by Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho pushed back the visitors who eventually held on for a draw.
That point was massive in the relegation battle that Leeds find themselves in and they face Man United again on Sunday at Elland Road.
Bournemouth, Southampton and Everton all have shorter odds in the betting market but that could all change especially with Sean Dyche joining the Toffees.
