Carlos Corberan is the 11/10 favourite become the next Leeds manager after Jesse Marsch was sacked
Betting markets are up for who will become the next Leeds Manager with Carlos Corberan the early favourite with bookies at 11/10 to take over.
Leeds are without a manager after sacking Jesse Marsch on Monday following their seventh league game without a win at the weekend.
Corberan was a coach at Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa before leaving in 2020 to take over at Huddersfield where he lost to Nottingham Forest in the play-off final.
The Spanish manager is now the head coach of West Brom with his form at the Baggies since taking over in October a big factor.
Next Leeds Manager | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Carlos Corberan | 11/10 | 47.6% |
Andoni Iraola | 15/8 | 34.8% |
Mauricio Pochettino | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Ralph Hasenhuttl | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Ange Postecoglou | 12/1 | 7.7% |
Big names feature in the betting such as Mauricio Pochettino who was mentioned due to his current unattached status but seems an unlikely appointment.
The latest odds from BetVictor say that Corberan has a 47% chance of taking over at Elland Road next.
Rayo Vallecano coach Andoni Iraola is the close second favourite in the betting market
Andoni Iraola is the current coach of Rayo Vallecano and has been linked with the Leeds job alongside Corberan in the past 24 hours.
Iraola is the 15/8 second favourite to take over with Leeds' sporting director Victor Orta reportedly a big fan of the manager.
It's Orta's job to find a suitable replacement for Marsch and Iraola could well fill that role with his Vallecano side flying high in 5th in La Liga.

Bookies now make Leeds 2/1 to be relegated this season
Leeds are well and truly in the relegation battle as bookies make them the 4th favourites in the betting market to be relegated this season.
With odds of 2/1 there's a 33.3% probability they go down according to the betting market with three clubs above them at shorter odds.
Bournemouth, Southampton and Everton all have shorter odds in the market but that could all change especially with Sean Dyche joining the Toffees.
Dyche and his Everton side won their first game together against league leaders Arsenal and they may now kick on and put Leeds in further danger.
