Neil Lennon is the 5/2 favourite to become the next Hibernian manager after declaring interest
Betting is now available on the next Hibernian manager after Lee Johnson was sacked by the club at the weekend after a poor run of form saw them lose five of their nine games this season.
UK Betting Sites have instantly put Neil Lennon as the favourite to make a return to Hibernian after he left the club back in 2019 and he has thrown his hat into the ring for the job.
Lennon told PLZ Soccer's Football Show that he would like to make a return saying that the "time is right" for him to come back to the club and take over following those 4 years away from Hibs.
The Northern Irishman has been without a managerial role since leaving Cypriot First Division side Omonia back in October 2022 after poor domestic results.
BetVictor now have Lennon as the firm favourite to take over at Hibernian next with the betting odds having him as 5/2 to take over once again.

Neil Lennon is the 5/2 favourite to make a shock return to Hibernian after throwing his hat into the ring to go back to the club 4 years on from when he left! Lennon said that it is now the right time to go back to Hibs.
Three managers share joint second favourite position in the betting market
Bookies can't split the next three in the betting market after Neil Lennon with Steve Evans, Steve Cotterill and Scott Brown all sharing joint second favouritism.
Steve Evans gets linked with the majority of jobs that come available despite currently managing Stevenage due to the impressive job that he's doing at the club.
Steve Cotterill is without a club after leaving Shrewsbury back in the Summer and he could be an easy option for Hibs with no compensation needed.
It's no surprise to see Scott Brown linked with the club after starting his career at Hibernian before eventually joining Celtic and he is currently the manager of Fleetwood Town.
Lee Johnson was sacked by Hibs and is straight into favourite to be next Charlton boss
Following that poor start to the season from Hibernian, Lee Johnson was dismissed by the board but sees himself instantly as favourite to take over at League One club Charlton.
Johnson is 5/2 to take over at Charlton next with his odds shortening slightly in the past 24 hours from 4/1 as the Addicks look for a new manager.
Former Charlton boss Karl Robinson is 5/1 to make a return to the club as they look to hire someone sooner rather than later to kick on with their season.
Next Charlton Manager | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Lee Johnson | 5/2 | 28.6% |
Karl Robinson | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Lee Bowyer | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Jason Pearce | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Steve Cotterill | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Next Charlton Manager Betting Odds: Lee Johnson is now 5/2 favourite to take over at The Valley next after Dean Holden's dismissal!
