Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is now the 5/1 second favourite for the role

Thomas Tuchel was linked with the England manager's job following England's World Cup exit in December according to various reports.

Tuchel has been without a role since being sacked by Chelsea back in September but his CV is impressive including a Champions League win for the Blues back in 2021.

The FA and Southgate mutually decided to carry on with things as they've been for the past 6 years with Southgate signing an extension until 2024 back in November 2021.

England are currently 6/1 to win the 2024 Euros

Southgate is expected to be the man who leads the Three Lions into the 2024 Euros and they will go into the tournament as the joint second favourites to win it all at 6/1.

England finished runners-up in the last European Championships after losing to Italy on penalties at Wembley and they'll be looking to do one better this time around.

The 2024 Euros will take place in Germany but it's France who are installed as favourites to win the whole thing at 5/1.
