Graham Potter is now the clear favourite at 3/1 to be the next England manager
Former Brighton and Chelsea manager Graham Potter now leads the way in the betting odds to be the next England manager with betting sites putting him as the 3/1 favourite.
Potter has been without a job since leaving Chelsea back in April 2023 and more than 12 months on he could be the man who takes over from Gareth Southgate after the Euros.
Southgate's future is still unclear but it's likely that if he was to leave then Potter would be one of several names on the FA's shortlist for the massive role.
Potter being out of work would make the appointment a lot easier for the FA with no need for compensation for a current club like similar reported candidates in Eddie Howe and Gary O'Neil.

Gareth Southgate told reporters that Euro 2024 could well be his last in charge of England
Gareth Southgate has said in recent weeks that he is unsure of what his future holds as England boss, with FA Chief Executive Mark Bullingham saying that they will sit with Southgate after the Euros.
Speculation has surrounded Southgate since the start of the year with the England boss linked with the Manchester United job but it looks like they have decided to stick with Erik ten Hag going into the new season.
“Gareth has been really, really clear that he wants to talk about it after the tournament. I don’t want to provide any distraction for him and the team," said Bullingham.

Stuart Pearce told OLBG that Jurgen Klopp should replace Southgate as England manager
Former England defender Stuart Pearce told OLBG that it should be former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp who the FA go for to be the next England manager.
Pearce said, “If Gareth decided to move on at any given time, Jurgen Klopp's has the credentials. I think he enjoys English football and he likes his team to play a brand of attacking high energy, which is synonymous with England."
Klopp currently sits at 18/1 in the betting market to be the next England manager with the bookies putting him as a big outsider to take over next.
