Roberto De Zerbi is the 7/4 favourite to become the next Chelsea manager
Roberto De Zerbi is the early favourite with bookies to become the next Chelsea manager with Mauricio Pochettino leaving the Blues on Monday by mutual consent after just a season in charge.
De Zerbi is now without a club after Brighton announced his departure on Saturday evening, with his last game in charge of the club a final day defeat at home to Manchester United.
Chelsea may well look to Brighton once again after they signed Graham Potter from the club back in 2022 but that signing wasn't a success with Potter dismissed less than a year into his five-year contract.
Bet365's latest betting odds put De Zerbi at the top of the betting market to take over at Chelsea next with Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna behind the Italian boss.

Mauricio Pochettino leaves Chelsea by mutual consent on Monday
Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino left Chelsea on Monday evening by mutual consent after just one season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The 52-year-old manager spent most of the season under pressure with a poor first half of the season but a strong run of form in the second half saw them reach the Carabao Cup Final, FA Cup Semi-Final and finish 6th.
"The club is now well positioned to keep moving forward in the Premier League and Europe in the years to come," Pochettino said in a statement on Monday evening.

Thomas Tuchel features in the betting market to make a shock return to Stamford Bridge
Thomas Tuchel is now third favourite in the betting market to make a shock return to Chelsea after being sacked by the board in September 2022.
Tuchel won the Champions League at the Blues and had a win percentage of 60% which made him the 4th highest of any Chelsea boss who had managed more than 100 games.
With the German manager leaving Bayern Munich this summer it could well be that the Blues board decide to bring him back to Stamford Bridge for another spell in charge.
