Nathan Jones now 7/4 to be the next Cardiff manager

Former Southampton and Luton Town boss Nathan Jones is now the 7/4 favourite with UK Betting Sites to be the next Cardiff manager.

Jones has also been linked with Cardiff's rivals Swansea in recent weeks with bookmakers also having him in the market for that job but it looks increasingly likely he'll go to Cardiff.

The Rhondda-born manager has said in the past that he would find it hard to turn it down managing Cardiff with his youth career starting at the club.

BetVictor now make Jones the 7/4 favourite in the market with those odds suggesting there's a 36% chance of him taking over the Bluebirds next.

Former favourite Sol Bamba remains 3/1 in the betting market

Sol Bamba was as short as 4/6 to be the next Cardiff manager back in May but he's since drifted in the betting market out to 3/1 to takeover at the Bluebirds.

Bamba still remains second favourite in the betting market though with bookies still giving him a chance of being the manager but his odds continue to drift week-by-week.

Bamba has been at Cardiff as assistant manager since January this year, making his return having played 118 games for Cardiff over his 5 year spell there as a player from 2016 to 2021.
