Chesterfield are the 13/2 favourites to win League Two this season

Betting is now available on the 2024/25 English League Two season with betting sites offering odds on a whole host of markets ahead of the season opener on 9 August.

Fresh from winning the 2023/24 National League title, Chesterfield are the 13/2 favourites to win the league in back-to-back seasons with bookmakers placing them as the early favourites in the market.

The Spireites had a fantastic season with Will Griff up front and the ex-Wigan and Sunderland forward will be looking to fire his side to another league title this campaign.

Bet365's latest betting market puts Paul Cook's side as the top team in the odds list ahead of Milton Keynes Dons and Port Vale with the top 5 sides relatively tight in the market.

Bradford striker Andy Cook is 10/1 to be Top Goalscorer in the league

Andy Cook tops the betting odds to be the Top Goalscorer in League Two this season with the best football betting sites putting him ahead of the rest after last season's form.

Cook scored a total of 17 goals in the league last season and he'll be wanting to push on further across 2024/25 as he looks to fire Bradford City up the league.

Last season's top scorer in the division Macaulay Langstaff left Notts County to join Millwall this summer after his 28 goals across the 46 games played followed on from his 42 goals in the National League the season before.

Morecambe top the dreaded relegation market with bookies putting them above Bromley to go down

It's not just the positive markets that can be bet on, but also the dreaded relegation odds as well with Morecambe the favourites to be relegated from League Two this season.

Morecambe finished in 15th place in the League Two table last season after being relegated from League One in 2022/23 and the amount of goals conceded has placed question marks around them once again this campaign.

Bromley were promoted to the Football League for the first time last season after they beat Solihull Moors in the National League Play-Off Final and they're second favourites to go straight back down this campaign.
