Sheffield Wednesday are the 7/2 favourites to win League One this season

Sheffield Wednesday are the bookies favourite to win League One this season and are usually there or thereabouts in the betting market to do so.

This will be The Owls second consecutive season in League One and they'll be looking to go up in this year's campaign.

Paddy Power have given them a 22.2% chance of winning the league this season, just in front of Ipswich who have a 16.7% probability of winning the league based on the odds.

League One Winners 2022/23 Odds Probability
Sheffield Wednesday 7/2 22.2%
Ipswich 5/1 16.7%
Derby 6/1 14.3%
Peterborough 17/2 10.5%
MK Dons 11/1 8.3%

Derby County were relegated from the Championship last year and are 6/1 to win the league despite their financial woes continuing.

Liam Rosenior is the new manager of the club after Wayne Rooney left in the Summer.

Sheffield Wednesday are the bookies favourites to win the league this season at 7/2, with Ipswich just behind in the betting market at 5/1. It's set to be a hugely competitive year in the division.

Jonson Clarke-Harris is 7/1 favourite to be top scorer in the division

Bookmakers make Peterborough's Jonson Clarke-Harris the 7/1 favourite to be the top scorer in League One this season.

Peterborough are back in the division after being relegated from the Championship and will be looking to go straight back up again.

Clarke-Harris finished top scorer in the division with 31 goals when the Posh were last in the league back in the 2020-21 season.

Those 31 goals helped Peterborough gain automatic promotion that year and it's expected that Clarke-Harris will do similar again this year.

Morecambe 5/6 favourites to go down despite never being relegated

Morecambe are 5/6 to be relegated from League One this season despite never being relegated in their history.

The Shrimps defied the odds last year to stay in League One and they'll be fighting again next season.

Morecambe have been going for 102 years so it's quite an impressive stat that they've never been relegated to say the least.

League One Relegation 2022/23 Odds Probability
Morecambe 5/6 54.5%
Exeter 7/5 41.7%
Fleetwood Town 6/4 40.0%
Cheltenham 13/8 38.1%
Port Vale 17/10 37.0%

Exeter are one of the promoted League Two teams coming into the division this season and bookies make them second favourites to go straight back down.

Port Vale are also one of the promoted clubs who feature at the top of the market to go down this season.

Morecambe are the bookmakers favourites to be relegated this season at 5/6 despite never going down in their 102 year history!
