Georgie Grasso is the new favourite to win this year's Great British Bake Off

Betting odds have been blown wide open for the winner of this year's Great British Bake Off after former favourite Sumayah Kazi was eliminated on Tuesday night's show.

Georgie Grasso is now the leader in the latest market after impressing judges week-by-week including a Star Baker performance in Week 4 of the show.

This week's Star Baker Dylan Bachelet follows just behind Georgie in the betting odds with the 20-year-old's 'Concrete Box' Tiramisu and Spotted Dick wowing Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

Now the latest odds give an implied probability of 33.3% that Georgie is crowned Bake Off winner this year with Dylan given a 30.8% chance according to the latest market.

Former favourite Sumayah Kazi was the latest baker to be eliminated

After starting off the show in great style with fantastic performances, including being Star Baker in Week Two, it was no surprise to see Sumayah Kazi installed as the favourite in the market to win the show.

Sumayah continued to improve week after week and her Star Baker performance last week caused many viewers to believe she would be crowned winner of Bake Off this year.

Sadly for Sumayah though she was eliminated from Bake Off this week after she failed to impress with her Technical, Signature and Showstopper bakes.

Five bakers remain on this year's Bake Off series

This year's cast of Great British Bake Off sees a range of ages from 19 to 71 from a whole host of locations across Britain and beyond.

19-year-old Sumayah was the youngest contestant in the show with 71-year-old Hazel Vaughan the oldest to enter this year's series.

Just five bakers remain on the show this year with the race to win now wide open after previous favourite Sumayah departed.
