Barcelona remain certain that they don't need to sell De Jong for more funds

Barcelona have stated multiple times that they don't have to sell Frenkie De Jong this Summer but that may well be false.

The club have still got a number of new signings unregistered due to their lack of money and they're still asking players for pay cuts.

The Spanish giants are rumoured to still owe De Jong €17million in unpaid wages after the player agreed to defer them due to the pandemic.

The Dutch midfielder is understandably wanting to get the money that he is owed and it looks like he'll be waiting and waiting for that.
