What the expert says...
Erik ten Hag follows behind Howe in the latest betting market
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is second favourite in the betting market to be the first Premier League manager to leave his role this season, with last season's campaign ending with big question marks around his position.
The start of July though saw United trigger a one-year extension to Ten Hag's contract which stopped any questions surrounding his future in charge of the club.
A poor start to the season though would likely see questions around Ten Hag's future once again and his odds shorten further to be the first manager to go.
Manchester City are favourites to win their fifth Premier League title in-a-row
Bookies are also offering betting odds on the Premier League title winners this season with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City the favourites to once again win the league.
City made it four in-a-row last season with their thrilling title race against Arsenal coming down to the final day and Guardiola will be looking to make it five this year.
The Sky Blues though have had a quiet transfer window so far and it may well be that they don't do much more business this summer following the signing of Savio.
Now though they sit at 13/10 favourites to win the Premier League this season with Arsenal following just behind them in the betting market with a two horse race expected again this campaign.
