Bayer Leverkusen are now odds-on to win the Europa League after their unbeaten season continued last night

With the Quarter-Finals of the Europa League wrapping up last night we've now got a new favourite with bookmakers in the winner market with Bayer Leverkusen now odds-on to win the competition.

Xabi Alonso's side are on for the treble this season after wrapping up the Bundesliga title last weekend and they looked to be feeling the hangover of their celebrations against West Ham last night.

The Hammers were winning up until Jeremie Frimpong’s late equaliser which extended Leverkusen's unbeaten run to 44 games and they're now odds-on to win the Europa League this season.

Leverkusen's impeccable form mixed in with favourites Liverpool being knocked out has seen their odds now shorten to just 3/4 with Bet365 to win the whole competition.

Former favourites Liverpool were knocked out despite winning second leg 1-0 away at Atalanta

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side were knocked out of the Europa League last night after their 1-0 second leg win against Italian side Atalanta wasn't enough to turn things around.

Atalanta won the first leg at Anfield 3-0 and ultimately won the tie there with Klopp's men battling to a win in the second leg but still needing more goals to get through.

Klopp's time in charge of Liverpool comes to an end this season and he'll be disappointed to have finished his time at the club without another European final.
