Cody Gakpo is the 7/2 favourite to win the Euro 2024 Golden Boot after scoring three goals so far

Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo leads the way with UK Betting Sites to win the Euro 2024 Golden Boot after a strong start to the tournament sees him as the joint top scorer so far.

Netherlands striker Gakpo sits alongside Georgia's Georges Mikautadze, Germany's Jamal Musiala and Slovakia's Ivan Schranz on three goals scored so far in the tournament.

Musiala is the only other player in that joint top four that remains in the tournament though with a further eight players following behind them on 2 goals scored.

William Hill's latest market gives an implied probability of 22.2% that Gakpo leads the way in the Top Scorer race at the end of the tournament with Turkey up next for his country.

Kylian Mbappe was the pre-tournament favourite but has now drifted out to 11/1 to top the goalscoring charts after scoring just one goal so far.

Germany's Jamal Musiala has also bagged three goals but faces a tricky match against Spain next

Germany wonderkid Jamal Musiala has also scored three goals at Euro 2024 so far but his country faces Spain next in the biggest game of the tournament so far.

That's the reason why his odds are out to 11/2 to win the Golden Boot rather than being the same as fellow 3 goal man Gakpo due to quality of opponent next.

The latest Player of the Tournament market sees Musiala sit as the favourite though with the Germany player 6/1 ahead of his fellow countryman Toni Kroos.

England have moved back into favourites to win Euro 2024 ahead of the Quarters where Gareth Southgate's men face Switzerland in what will be another tough game.

The Three Lions though, on paper, are on the 'easier' side of the draw with Spain facing Germany and France facing Portugal on the other side of the bracket.

If England were to beat the Swiss, they will face the winner of the Netherlands v Turkey in the Semi-Final with Southgate's side having a massive chance of winning the competition.
