Reform UK are the new favourites to win Clacton seat after Nigel Farage announces he will stand there

British politician Nigel Farage announced on Monday afternoon that he will be running for Reform UK in the Clacton constituency at next month's General Election.

Bookmakers have instantly slashed the odds for Farage and Reform UK to win the seat in Clacton with the odds of it happening moving from 5/1 earlier this morning to 8/13 now.

Bet365's latest betting market has Farage as the clear favourite in the market to win the seat with the Conservatives drifting right out to 13/8 in the betting odds to win the seat now.

Those odds suggest a 61.9% chance of the new Reform UK leader winning the Clacton seat with a big chance of doing so according to that latest market.
