I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Australia (1/2) are odds-on favourites with Betway to win the 2025–26 Ashes.
  • England are 12/5, while a drawn series is priced at 8/1.
  • Correct score betting has Australia 4-1 as the most likely outcome at 5/1.

The Ashes Returns Down Under

Cricket’s most historic rivalry resumes this November as England travel to Australia for the 2025–26 edition of the Ashes.

The series begins at Perth Stadium from November 21–25, before moving across Australia’s iconic grounds and betting sites are now giving odds.

England's squad is set to be announced next week, with attention on whether selectors spring any surprises for the five-match Test series.

Australia, meanwhile, will look to extend their dominant home record, having not lost a home Ashes since 2010–11.

Betway have unsurprisingly made the Aussies odds-on favourites to win the Ashes once again on home soil this year.

England12/529.4%
Drawn Series8/111.1%

Australia’s short price reflects their strength at home, with a settled batting line-up and world-class pace attack.

England’s recent revival under Ben Stokes gives them hope, but at 12/5, bookmakers suggest they remain underdogs.

Correct Score Odds

ResultOddsImplied Probability
Australia 4-15/116.7%
Australia 3-26/114.3%
Australia 5-06/114.3%
Australia 3-113/213.3%
Australia 4-015/211.8%
Draw 2-215/211.8%
England 3-215/211.8%
England 3-112/17.7%

The most likely outcome, according to Betway, is Australia 4-1 at 5/1 while a clean sweep at 6/1 is also a realistic prospect given England’s struggles on Australian pitches.

For optimists, England edging a tight series 3-2 is also 15/2.

Betting Insight

Australia’s odds-on status is no surprise.

Their pace attack has been almost unplayable at home and coupled with batters like Marnus Labuschagne (who could return to the side) and Steve Smith, the hosts have the balance to dominate.

England, though, have reasons for optimism.

The leadership of Ben Stokes and aggressive “Bazball” style under coach Brendon McCullum have revitalised the team.

Much may depend on whether Joe Root, Harry Brook, and Zak Crawley can adapt quickly to Australian conditions.
