First Impression of BoyleSports

My First Impressions

This review will reflect the service offered at a specific point in time. I signed up on the desktop version of BoyleSports, but also used the mobile version to compare, as well as the BoyleSports app. My initial reaction is that everything is a bit fussy, but I think that’s mainly down to the football markets that fill the right-hand of the screen, even when you’re checking out other sports. You don’t get this on the app, and things feel all a bit slicker. There seem to be plenty of promotions, too, which is great, and they’re easy to find, and what’s more, these appear to be across a number of different sports, not just football and racing.

Live Betting

This is a real strong point from BoyleSports. It has in-play betting for most sports, covering events across the globe. All of this is across a great interface, clearly sign-posted, with plenty of stats in-game to help inform your betting. In fact, it makes our list of best bookmakers for in-play betting for good reason, ranking no.4 overall.

Live Streaming

Live streaming is available on the BoyleSports site and app for horse racing. The quality of the stream is really good and if BoyleSports upped the number and variety of sports that it offers live streaming on then it would start making its way onto our best bookmaker for live streaming list.

Betting Odds

In most cases, where BoyleSports makes our Top 10s, odds play a big part in why it does so. BoyleSports is regularly one of the best places to find long odds for some more niche sports, as well as offering competitive odds on the likes of football and racing. It also has Best Odds Guaranteed for racing and greyhounds, which we’ll touch upon later.

Betting App or Mobile Site 

The BoyleSports mobile app is excellent. The iOS version of the mobile app receives reliable reviews and Android users also rating the app as very good. BoyleSports' football section is very good. Covering all the major leagues around the world, as well as a load of smaller ones, you can find plenty of markets for each game. As well as game bets, there’s futures and outrights – top goalscorer, manager of the month, player of the season, and plenty more. Their odds are as good as pretty much anyone else out there, too, so they have to be considered when searching around for value.

Bet Builder 

You’ll find BoyleSports’s bet builder for events in most sports, just look for the gold bricks and B icon at the top of the market selection on each event. For one football bet I made, there were plenty of options – maybe not as many as some of the absolute top products out there – but a very good option, nonetheless. The game I was doing was still a good few hours away from kick-off so it’s likely more player markets would be added by the time the game kicked off.

Bonuses

All over BoyleSports’s site, you’ll see plenty of different promotions across most sports, but definitely football. There are early pay outs if your team goes two goals ahead, you can boost your odds, or insure one leg, in your football accas, and there is the very popular Fantasy Five free-to-play game. In addition to these, for every five accas that you place, you’ll get a free £5 acca (this is across all sports, not just football).

Boylesports have their own loyalty programme called BoyleXtra which allows you to bet with them however and whenever you want to. The service is across online, self service betting terminals in shop, general in shop betting, on the Boylesports app and Fon-a-bet. Cash Out

A full range of American Sports is available. At the time of writing, only the MLB season isn’t up and running, with the other major leagues in full swing. Beyond that there are lots of international markets for these sports.

🏈 American Football Betting

Price boosts, after price boosts, after price boosts. You can’t move for odds on the NFL and NCAA being boosted at BoyleSports. That applies to prop bets, futures, outrights and game lines. You can’t put together your own bet builders, but four and five-leg accas have, unsurprisingly, been boosted. It more than makes up for not having great odds to start off with, plus they also have acca insurance and brilliant cash out options. They’re brilliant. When you land on an American football section (and the same for basketball, too), you want to see game lines, with spread, total and moneyline markets right there. That’s what you get at BoyleSports, although they have named them “handicap” rather than “spread, and “match betting” rather than “moneyline”, but that’s nitpicking from myself and what I prefer.

🏀 Basketball Betting

BoyleSports has fantastic basketball event coverage from all over the world and has a great offer: An early pay out to your team if they go 17 points ahead. There are plenty of NBA betting options as well as odds from the biggest matches in Europe, including France, Germany, Russia, the UK. In terms of markets, you’ll find money line, total points and handicaps, plus plenty more. You can also bet in-play, with odds available quarter by quarter. BoyleSports are the solid allrounder. They may not be able to pitch at 100mph, but they’re your relief pitcher that you can depend on. Navigation and user experience [desktop v mobile]

The BoyleSports site is good but I found myself using the app over the desktop more and more, which is no sleight on the desktop version, but the app definitely feels more intuitive. BetVictor is the number one betting app in the country, and BoyleSports uses the same platform, which is why it also makes our top 10 betting apps list. Our user reviews point towards the reliability of the site being impressive plus the app being good due to the fast sign up process there.

Placing a bet

This section should only really highlight if there are issues, as the process is almost identical on every site. Within a few minutes of signing up to BoyleSports I placed a couple of bets on different sports, one of which took advantage of the welcome offer, and I used their bet builder feature, which was very good indeed. Placing a bet on BoyleSports is straightforward with the betslip instantly appearing on your screen when you click a selection.

Managing your account

As mentioned above, the design really makes this tick. On the desktop version, it’s stuff left and right of screen (menu and search to the left, account and bets to the right). On the app, it’s at the bottom, with search, account and bets at the top, with a main nav bar at the bottom that can get you to different sports, in-play options and casino (plus return to the home page).
