Tour Championship 2024: Format Change and Qualification Criteria

The Tour Championship 2024 was played at Manchester Central between the 1st and 7th of April and involved a format change on previous years with the field extended from eight players to twelve.

The top twelve players in the one-year ranking list after the World Open participated in Manchester. 

Below is the one-year standings that has been used for this event. All stats are correct prior to the start of the Tour Championship:

Tour Championship: Draw and Results

Mark Williams defeated Ronnie O'Sullivan 10-5 to win his second ranking event of the season.

Williams was in superb form all week defeating Tom Ford, Judd Trump, Mark Allen and O'Sullivan to lift the trophy.


The 2024 Tour Championship sees the field extended to twelve players for the first time with the top four seeds moving straight through to the quarter-finals.

All matches are played over nineteen frames.
