Best Betting Site for Next Coventry Manager Betting

There is a huge range of UK Bookmakers to choose from but only very few that offer next-manager betting, if at all - As we have covered every club management change over the seasons, looking for betting odds on who the next club manager will be, we have found the following betting sites to be the most reliable and quickest to get odds up for the next manager at most clubs

Who Will Be The Next Coventry City Manager

Here we have some speculative suggestions for the possible next manager of the Sky Blues. The list comes from some who appeared in the betting market last time the job was up for grabs, as well as managers who fit the profile of previous managers of the club.

Matt Bloomfield

Bloomfield has managed Colchester United and his current club, Wycombe Wanderers, for which he also played. The 2024/25 season has started really well for Wycombe, which has alerted the bookmakers, who feature him prominently in the Next Coventry City manager betting market. Image: BBC sport

Alan Sheehan

Sheehan is better known as a player rather than a coach or manager. He only hung up his boots in 2022. Since then, he has coached at Luton, Southampton, and Swansea City.

Robbie Keane

Keane played for Coventry City in 2000 before moving on to a host of clubs, including Liverpool and Tottenham. His coaching experience is extensive, having worked with the Republic of Ireland, Middlesbrough, and Leeds United. However, he has yet to manage a team in either Britain or Ireland.

Sam Allardyce

The very early odds did not consider Big Sam to Coventry, but his name was in the frame before Frank Lampard was appointed. The former England Manager would change the Sky Blues style of play, but he does know how to get teams promoted, having achieved this with Notts County, Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United.

Lee Carsley

Interim England manager ahead of the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, it is expected that he will be looking for a position in club management and his former team (2000-2002, 2010-2011) may be a perfect fit for his undoubted skills.

Ruben Selles

Spanish born Selles is currently the Reading FC manager, he may relish a step up a division to Coventry City.

Alex Neil

Neil has plenty of experience, having managed Hamilton Academicals, Norwich City, Preston North End, Stoke City, and Sunderland.

He has twice guided English clubs into higher divisions via the playoffs (Norwich City and Sunderland).

Steven Schumacher

An early front runner for the Coventry position Schumacher guided Plymouth Argyle into the Championship before heading north to Stoke City in December 2023, the move went badly and he left the Potteries 9 months later.

David Moyes

David Moyes left West Ham United at the end of the 2023/24 season and has been linked to a range of managerial vacancies since. If he was to be appointed at the Coventry Building Society Arena the Sky Blues would be his seventh club he has managed.

Steve Cotterill

Steve Cotterill has now managed 11 clubs with his latest appointment coming at Forest Green Rovers. His name regularly features in Championship next manager markets, having been in charge at Birmingham City, Stoke City and Nottingham Forest in that division.

Nathan Jones

Nathan Jones is closely associated with Luton Town, where he has been manager twice; he has struggled when he has moved away from Kenilworth Road. In 2019 he was appointed at Stoke City but lasted just 38 games, winning only six of them, and he then had an even shorter spell as Southampton manager for 14 games in the 2022/23 season before being dismissed. In early 2024 he took the managers position at Charlton Athletic.

Dean Smith

Dean Smith had a 566-game playing career that saw him turn out for predominantly lower-league sides, including Walsall, Hereford, Leyton Orient, Sheffield Wednesday and Port Vale. He moved into football management when he returned to Walsall as manager in 2011. Since then, he has managed at Brentford, Aston Villa, Norwich City and Leicester City. His greatest achievement was winning promotion to the EPL with Aston Villa in 2019.

Slaven Bilic

Another manager with a packed CV is Slaven Bilic. The Croatian-born Bilic has now been in charge of eight club sides as well as the Croatian Under 21 and Nationals sides. Not every position has worked out, and he could do with a settled period at one club to help rebuild his reputation.
