Looks sure to go close after second last time, running on very well. A step up in trip must eke out a bit more. Solid chance for me here.

Ivane moved to the new yard of James Owen earlier this year and finished top 3 in all 4 races for the new yard including a win in Southwell. I also expect a win for Ivane today.

Four starts over hurdles for the 4yo, one win, three decent runs in defeat. Not disgraced in a Grade 3 handicap last time out, when racing from 9lb out of the handicap. She likes the better ground and is now running in a class 5 handicap against older runners, but she does receive an 8lb age allowance. Top yard/jockey, more to come from this one.

Not much form here, but Basman Palace, a progeny of Silvano, catches the eye and has found his form at the right time. He will contest the finish and probably win.

Little Pi was only 3.5 L behind Ivane last time out and is 3lb better off in this today. He was not strongly pushed out last time in the last 100 yards, and with the ground not as soft, he has a chance to reverse those placings today. In doing so, he should find himself in the first three at least.

The model I run suggests Pub Crawl can get over the line first here. Pub Crawl has an RPR towards the top of the order but has an official ranking that allows him to carry lighter weight. Last run 32 days ago, so has race fitness and has some form coming into this, with a prior 2nd and 4th at Sedgefield.
