4:38 Newmarket Tips

Recent run here in a Class 2 event, finished a respectable 2nd, running on Newmarket's tricky course, with the dip in the last 2 furlongs. This horse clearly has no issues with a drop in trip and class. Should see a good run.

I am not sure about his best trip and I don't think the trainer is either. He has won over 2m over hurdles but only 10f on the flat so far. Has the best of the time figures so should go close if he truly stays the trip.

The model I run suggests Speriamo can win this one. Not too fancied by the early market. Lines up with mid-rating RPR but does carry significantly less weight for this. Is a previous course and distance winner, so knows how to win. Form of 2, 2, 1, 3-5, so probably needed the last run from a previous break. Last run 13 days ago.

This horse has not won since 2022, in a Class 1 event at a mark of 107. It will be its first run on turf since November 2024, having been campaigned on the AW tracks. Its last run on turf at this course, Class 1, mark of 103, finished a respectable 6th from 9 runners. The horse that finished last has very recently won in a Class 1 event at a mark of 113. Now it drops into Class 3 at a mark of 93, having won here on its debut run, with form franked by a horse in much higher calibre than today's rivals. The trainer must be expecting a big run here.
