Far from disgraced on only start since when finishing third at Carlisle when the ground conditions may not have been ideal. Looks a big player here back on a quicker surface and with a favourable draw in stall three.

Backed to win at Carlisle last time and just didn't turn up. The Gay Blade is likely still well in, and the return to Andrew Mullen is probably a negative here. Good opportunity.

Won last under Bill Pyle last year here at the track. Lower mark to aid the cause this season, for has not won in four outings, including one right after surgery back in April. Should have a bolder bid sometime this year, starting with today.

At the bottom third of the handicap mark in this field and only 3 wins from 37 runs, but crucially 2 of those wins are over C&D and now back down to the last winning mark, so should be a serious threat.

RORY is a hold up sort who has dropped a long way in the weights and might just catch a race soon. Got pretty close on seasonal debut at Ayr and is three pounds lighter now. Paul Mulrennan is an upgrade in the saddle and was on board for a course/distance win here last July. Class six much less quality than the usual opponents, so he could get involved.

Placed off 13lb higher last June at Sandown, just struggling up the hill late on over this trip. Two runs this season have both been well below his best, but the return to 7f should suit.
