Ironist beat the selection LTO on debut and should go well again, but Linear Spirit wasn't far behind. The selection finished 5th after being slowly away, had to find room before challenging, and stayed on well. Will improve for that outing and could go close at decent odds.

Saguaro Blossom went into my notebook after racing in a Group Three at Newmarket, where I thought she had every chance but did not find it when the gap looked to have closed on her. The Arizona-sired filly can express herself with the drop in class to this maiden for a big run appearing.
