Bay Dream Believer seems to have a lot going for her in this handicap. She likes the going, has run well at the track before, and was a very encouraging second at Ripon last week. She has followed up good performances after a very short time since that run, so she shouldn't 'bounce' here. Mark Walford is a good trainer who always places his horses well.

8yo mare Hostelry is in nice form since April with form figures of 123 in her last 3 races all under Kaiya Fraser. Goes well here at Hamilton and on fast ground. This one doesn't look too strong and she should be in the mix.

Dingwall isn't the most consistent, but on a good day would be capable enough, despite the drop back in trip. First run of this year, he ran a bit too keen over 10f, so ought to be suited to this stiff mile.

JUMEIRA VISION is a well treaed mature racer who has course and distance winning form. He has now taken in two runs back from his seasonal break and third-up with potenbtial for the best version of him to be seen tonight he appeals.

We Still Believe has never been out of the first three in five starts here and is consistent on quick ground. Pulled up last time over hurdles on good to soft after leading until 3 out. That would have kept the 7-year-old sharp for his return here and on form looks to have a better chance than the stablemate in this, who is half this one's price.

Was definitely raced for the mark to be lowered last time out and this is a hell of a lot easier race here. As a result, happy to take this horse to place here.

ZUMAATY is only a pound above his last CD run which resulted in a win in this grade. Followed that up with a bunch finish at Ayr from higher in the handicap and looks potentially well treated for a stab at it from a big price. Stable performing very well here at Hamilton over the past 12 months and have fired in some winners in recent days too. Has a bit to do from here in the stalls, but it's not an insurmountable task.

I cannot understand why Desert Dream is such long odds in this class 6 race. He improved last year winning off 49 and 55 followed by places off 59. He had a break over the winter followed by 2 prep runs when unfancied. He turns up today off 55 with every chance of at least a place.
