Runner-up on penultimate outing over today's course and distance before going one better last time out at Ripon on good to soft ground. Looks a solid selection for each-way purposes on similar ground today, and with many bookies paying out on extra places.

Cabelleroso has not got a lot of miles on the clock compared to some in this and has the hood back on today. I would forget the last run, and it has gone down 2 lbs for that. Winning as a 2-year-old at Chelmsford with the first-time hood is the main reason why I give the Hugo Palmer runner a solid each way here.

Educating Rita is a course and distance winner who could be reviving herself with a sound run on a course she has excelled on in the past. Clifford Lee has the ride for the first time and he may be able to get Michael Dods trained Belardo sired filly home in first place.

Was only beaten 4.5 lengths by Henri Matisse (top Coolmore inmate) as a 2yo when with J. Bolger in Ireland and not disgraced in their 3 races since joining this very shrewd stable. However, has not looked a natural miler and above run was gained over 6f, so interesting drop to that trip here. Good apprentice is back up claiming 3lb and trained by one of the shrewdest in the business, who is tops here numerically @ one of this local tracks, making current 14/1 solid Ew value in the race.

Glorious Kitty has been inconsistent but rallied well over 5f at Epsom to be two lengths 6th of 16 in a Class 3 handicap last weekend and could go well drawn against the stands side over six furlongs.

Alpha Magic could be worth an EW 4P as he was not far away when third in a C5 on the return in April. However, he ended the last race with the rider looking down and at the back of the pack. He deserves another shot at this C4 off the same mark.

Bit slow away last time and never involved in the race. Can come on for that run and is dropping back in trip off a 2 lb lower mark.

Two runs this year for the 3yo, excuses last time out but his fitness should be fine now. If he can capture the form he showed on his final two starts last year he can be a big player in this company off his current mark. He has a good draw and the slower ground is a positive.
