Solid Group form from the 3yo filly last year, good RPR ratings. Decent runs in her two starts this year. Not a great draw but a respectable run in a very strong 18 runner Group 1 at Royal Ascot. This extra furlong could help, Ryan Moore takes over in the saddle and he's dropping down into Group 3 company.

Flora Of Bermuda has perfect conditions for a big run here at Goodwood over this trip. 2 impressive wins from 3 starts over 6f both gave the impression that this extra furlong will be ideal.

Zanthos won a G2 as a 2yo last Sept at 7f, and the two G1 runs at 1 mile and then 6f this year have not been great. I think the drop back to G2 with a first-time tongue-tie at 7f could work.

On form, Planet Seeker has plenty to find with some of the other fillies, but there's no doubt that she seems to be on a fast upward curve at the moment. She absolutely hosed up at Newmarket last time in a handicap and can step into pattern company successfully here. Ralph Beckett is an excellent trainer of fillies, rarely overreaching them as they develop. The selection won at Goodwood as a two-year-old, so handling the track shouldn't be a problem. Her owner, Jeff Smith, loves getting winners here, and he owned the mare, Planet Seeker, who won the Stewards' Cup here many moons ago.

Gone close last two outings when finishing runner-up in both and does have an edge on the front two in the market in that he has run over this 7-furlong trip. With four places on offer, does look very good each-way value.

​James Owen's five-year-old mare steps into Group 3 company in the Oak Tree Stakes in peak form. She produced a career-best effort earlier this month when digging deep to win a 1m Listed contest at Pontefract under James Doyle. Dropping back to 7f today, she has shown plenty of tactical speed on quick ground, having also claimed a valuable Class 2 handicap over 1m at Ascot back in May off a mark of 87. Partnered by Marco Ghiani from stall 8, her strong-finishing, tracking style gives her every right to make her presence felt at double-digit odds around 18/1

Zanthos is a teaser, but at 9/2 I can pass go. One that looked a very big price if she runs was Isle Of Fernandez stepping down from Group 1 French company where she actually beat Zanthos anyway. A previous 7f effort behind two horses rated 109-110 now off level weights reads well in the context of this event, and whilst her best efforts have come with soft in the going, she looks to be progressing well enough to take her chance here. She's got course experience too when 2nd in a maiden behind the fairly smart Aylin. Hopefully this very sharp track can help her forward going style, and whilst perhaps not drawn to make the most of that hopefully she can get a good spot front rank and not be inconvenienced.

This six year old mare has bundles of course experience & looks a huge price at 50/1. Has an each way squeak today
