Miss Information returned from a break in April and won when second up with Oisin in the saddle. She keeps him for this, having also won here with him back in July. I would expect more improvement today while up just 4 lbs.

I like the profile of Partisan Hero here. He's still only 5 (yes I know there are younger ones) but the way he has gone about his business over a mile suggests he will be perfectly good enough over the long straight over 7 at Epsom. Every chance.

Rhoscolyn is a horse I follow, coming back into form. Winner of this race in 2021 off a mark of 92 and last year from a mark of 97 (same rating as today). A popular choice for tipsters and strong market support so we're left with odds of 7-2 which I'm not finding greatly tempting. Clearly likes it here although also generally best with a bit of cut in the ground. Ran well at Chester just six days ago. Better handicapped horses in the field with good course and distance form include Marlay Park and stablemate to the selection, Darkness.

Well bred ex John Gosden trained gelding who has won twice over this 7f trip the last one on seasonal return at Doncaster back in March. Not beaten far when finished well into 6th at York last time out having been held up early and a good chance here if ridden closer to the pace today.

Alzahir has improved his turf form this season, winning 7f handicaps at Doncaster and Thirsk in his first two outings. Though he struggled to make an impact at York last month, he didn’t get the clearest run. Now dropping another pound in the weights, he could still be competitive and challenge for a placing here.

Didn't look like in any sort of form until dropping below last winning mark, and up it popped LTO at Thirsk with a win. If continuing that sort of form, should at least get a place.

Solid stable debut 3 runs back on Aw and not entirely disgraced in 2 runs on turf afterwards, including @ this class 2 level. Very good jockey up who does well when riding for this stable and very shrewd trainer who is now hitting form, 18 percent with his 3yo's here last 5 seasons @ his local track, making current 12/1 very good Ew value in the race.

Legal Reform has had three races in recent weeks and has been hitting the crossbar on their other recent efforts. They are taken to go close here. Ran a very decent 2nd of 10 over today's course and distance last September, and a repeat of that performance should put them bang there at the finish in an open race. They are worth chancing given how they handled the track previously.

An Epsom specialist with 4 wins over course and distance. 4th behind the re-opposing winner, Rhoscolyn, in this race last year beaten 3 lengths off a mark of 82. Could go well off a 6 pound lower mark.

Disappointed on stable debut at Kempton last time but has only had 4 runs. Previously with Aidan O'Brien and was a winner on debut, so has ability. Holds an each-way chance.

Hit and miss on the all-weather over the winter and spring, GOLDEN MIND is considered on return to the flat. Wasn't far away in a class two at Doncaster last September and is lighter in the handicap. That run came on the soft but looks equally solid on the firmer ground and could be a danger from a big price if bouncing back. Draw favourable also.

Returned to form with a victory in a 9 runner handicap at Musselburgh last month. However, he has since delivered a couple of lackluster performances, while other competitors come in with stronger credentials. Still, at odds of 33/1 an each-way bet could yield a profit if this distance winner can regain his previous form.
