The Waco Kid is a 3-year-old colt trained by Hugo Palmer. He is 2/9 wins but doesn't come here in the best of form, yet is still the highest-rated horse in the race on 107. He is ground versatile and won over today's trip. Hugo reverts to first-time cheekpieces and books Hollie Doyle, who is 1/1 wins when boarding horses for Hugo Palmer in first-time cheekpieces (Sweet Fantastic). His form is strong. He finished 3/7 in a listed race last September, beaten by Benevento by 1.25 lengths. The 2/7 Symbol Of Honour has since won four times, which includes a Group 2, and the 6/7 Jonquil has since won a Group 3. The Waco Kid could play a big part in today's proceedings.

Showed real spark as a juvenile, especially when runner-up in a strong race at Redcar. Probably wasn’t at his best at Doncaster and has been given time since. If he returns fresh and firing, he’s got the form to make his presence felt here, so an each-way chance.

Ran well in a few decent races last season, it's still very early days for this horse so some further progress is possible. Struggled over a longer trip last time out, now back down to what looks like a more suitable distance so a better effort from Glamis Road is possible. Small each-way tip
