Has shown a touch of ability in this class before, and the return to a straight track might help. Unlucky not to finish closer at York after being caught in traffic. Better suited to artificial surfaces and yet to sparkle on quicker turf, but if things fall his way from the low draw, he might just surprise. With the market backing him, this is a strong sign.

As well drawn as any here this horse has started the season well despite being without a win since 2023. Trainer and jockey have strong records here and he is a more viable option than any other in my eyes.

Went well for a long way Lto on unsuitable soft ground over C/D in a class 4 and back in a class 5 here off 1lb lower mark. Is a C/D winner, faster conditions here a plus, under used jockey up and in hands of a shrewd dual trainer, making current 16/1 very good Ew value in the race.

3rd of 11 over CD recently in a Class 6 race. Took a keen hold there and in the last race over this distance in another Class 6, was leading until the final furlong when he went lame. Again ran too freely and the jockey recommended headgear, which has been added today. Down 1 lb but up in grade. A couple of better horses running in this, so take a punt on an EW at a good price.

Was only beaten a neck when second in a fast-run Fillies' Maiden at Kempton on race debut last October. Not beaten far in both starts this year over 1m and 1m1f, not quite seeing out the longer trip as well. Of definite interest now back down to 7f and should be fit after a couple of warm-up runs. Good each way with 4 places.

Most recent success at Newcastle in March. She struggled in a class 4, placing 7th among 8 in a handicap at Newcastle 44 days ago. Now back in a lower grade, she still needs to validate her performance on turf. She has won at this distance before, showing she is capable, but with odds of 18/1, Hinksey placing an each-way bet is the best strategy.

Has recently lost the plot in terms of recent form, and fortunes did not change LTO for new yard when only 17th of 20 at York last month. But now operating 5lbs lower than last winning mark and drop down in class means I'm expecting him to be competitive tomorrow.
