Hot Cash has an interesting profile here. Coming in after not a lot of racing and off a pretty low race, this has to be a very good chance at bagging a decent pot.

No simple task going for the 4-timer from a 9lb higher mark, but he is an improving 3-year-old who won decisively last time. Value for more considering the position he came from and should handle the ground. Worth taking the chance.

2 runs at this venue, both over course distance. A win in The Bell in 2023 off a mark of 80 and a 3rd in the same race last year off a mark of 75. Reasonable effort last time out and shouldn't be far away back down to 75.

Won this last year off a 6lb lower mark and was just touched off in a class 3 @ Thirsk Lto off a mark of 78, so still nicely treated here off 79 in this class 4. Jockey D. Allan does prefer the stables other runner in the race, but we have a able replacement today who has ridden winners for this yard in the past and very good trainer who is tops here numerically last 5 seasons, best with his 4yo plus in same period, making current 11/1 very good Ew value in the race.

Interesting handicap, if a bit trappy, but I’ll chance Epidavros here who gets in towards the bottom of the weights. 3/3 a place on GS going, 1/1 here, she appears to be in fairly good order turned out again noting she is 4/4 a place off less than 14 days as well. 6/8 a place on an uphill finish, if she can go the pace then she should be sticking to the task dropping in trip here. There looks enough pace to follow to think this could fall back into the lap of something, and if she can continue an upward curve. Drawn alongside an evident front runner can help her if she doesn’t get squeezed out early. 1 lb above her last winning mark makes her 2 lbs well in for her OR of 74.

Excuses last time, but still finished ahead of some good horses and is in good form. The ground holds no fears, and this price each way, if you can get first five, looks worth a shot in a good handicap where there are several chances and angles. But Tele Red at at least 14-1 is the selection here.

The form of the O'Meara yard is up and down like a stock market, and his Pisanello is no different. Why choose then? It's on a very good mark and is only dropping due to tardy starts and goes okay once in motion. It had a sighter at the Bell once impeded at the end and would have placed, so that bodes well for liking this course. The doubts?

Course winner who won here last August, staying on strongly at the finish of 6f 195yds on good going with a rating of 80. The rating went up to 84 and has done nothing special since, but showed a bit of encouragement on his last two runs, finishing 3rd of 8 and 4th of 12 with ratings of 78 and 77. Drawn low in stall 4 today with ratings down further to 76.

Having won previously at this course, this 8-year-old proved his worth at his recent return by securing 3rd place in a handicap at Doncaster 19 days ago. Although he needs to step up his game, it is certainly feasible with the jockey's 5lb claim. At odds of 18/1, an each-way bet offers great value.

I am not sure about the ground with this one. Pedigree suggests he prefers faster ground, but he is overpriced as he is just a pound higher than when winning last year and would have needed his reappearance run last time. Small each-way bet.
