Got off the mark at the third attempt when winning at Navan last September. That form has since been franked and she looks to be on a fairly lenient mark for her handicap debut here.

Thrifty Of Digby is a very consistent sort and returns to Roscommon following her impressive 1 and a half length victory under Shane Foley. This is her trip, and she is versatile when it comes to the ground. If she gets a soft lead from the front, she might be very difficult to reel in.

STORMIE OUTLOOK is a mare who seems to be ridden by Seamie Heffernan when she is well fancied. That was indeed the case at this time last year when she racked up back-to-back summer wins and she hinted last time out her turn was near. Workable mark and an each-way play.

Has had 2 runs for Mullins, both over an inadequate trip. Now upped to a more suitable 10f, and Keane has been booked. Very strong each-way bet here for 4 places.

Useful mare deservedly got off the mark, with a comfortable success of 9 furlongs at Punchestown in September. Raised 7 lbs for that and went up another 4 after just failing to follow up, at Navan. Making seasonal flat return, but ran respectably over hurdles in May. Each way value.

I think this 4yo is peaking at the right time. Tactically versatile and has bounced back with two strong runs in deep handicaps. Has upside at this trip, a useful apprentice on board, and looks well-treated. Clear value here.

Vierson came 2nd last time out by a length, and improvement on that run is inevitable. Distance and ground seem suitable, and a good run is expected. Blue Points' progeny is producing good results this season as well. Top jockey and respected yard with good results here at Roscommon. E/W prospect.

FIREBRAND is an interesting contender with now scarcely used 7lb claiming apprentice Darragh O'Sullivan coming in for just this sole ride today. As a five year old with his noteworthy sire he could be in peak condition as a racehorse now and feasibly treated back on the level he appeals.

C&D champion. The latest triumph took place here in May. Recently placed a poor 8th in a handicap at Ballinrobe 8 days ago, showing below-par performance. Dropping down in distance. Others have performed better. Still, Phil Byrne is hopeful that this veteran 9-year-old will get a shot at 20/1. An each-way bet seems to offer good value.
