Lagoon Nebula looks the safest option in this staying handicap. She has been running consistently since dropping in the ratings, finishing placed on her last two starts. This longer trip should play to her strengths. She looks well treated and gets the vote in a competitive 14-runner field.

Donnacha O'Brien's 3-year-old filly looks like a prime candidate to finally break her maiden tag. She's struggled to find her feet on softer ground and shorter trips earlier in the season, but she looked like a completely different horse last time out at Bellewstown. Stepped up to 1m 6f for the first time, she stayed on strongly to finish a close third, proving she has the lungs for a proper staying trip. ​She gets identical good ground conditions tomorrow and runs off an incredibly lenient-looking mark of 57. Breaking from stall 8 with Chris Hayes booked to ride, she should settle beautifully at the back of the pack. In a wide-open handicap, her recent upward progression makes her a very solid bet at around 9/1

Has had three quiet runs over hurdles in novice company for this yard and was an eye catcher over them at Bellewstown earlier this month. He's back on the flat here from a mark that continues to fall and he looks interesting if in the same sort of form.

Coulstys Way has shown enough ability to suggest a race like this is within reach. If she settles over this longer trip and builds on her earlier placed efforts, she's well capable of going close at a decent price

Party Dress has won 2 of her 21 starts on the flat and looks interesting here after a very encouraging return from a short break when sixth of 14 at the Curragh last month. That was her first start for three months and over an inadequate 12 furlongs, but she was staying on and only beaten three lengths. Her previous win on the flat was over 2m1f at Limerick last year, so the extended 1m6f here will suit her more. She is off the same mark here with Megan Trafford Kelly claiming 7 lb, so she can go well and looks a good each-way bet at these odds with four places on offer.

Second handicap start for Parish Express who is bred to stay but has shown litle form thus far. Has only had four career starts. Decent jockey booking with Declan McDonogh taking the reins for Jim Bolger. Showed greenness on last outing but this mare by Parish Hall, owned and bred by the Bolgers, is the sort that could potentially be useful over a staying trip.
