Interesting, though, on second start for Oli Rix yard, looking for their first winner under Rules (their last runner finished third). Potential surprise at Class 3 level. Decent contest. Well drawn in stall 5.

  Porsche Lad gets the vote in a little tricky claimer. James McAuley owns him and the former trainer has a good record in these races. Good sort for this level. Significant drop in trip to seven furlongs (by Cotai Glory), so it's a suitable trip, and first-time blinkers are likely an aid. Reese Holohan claims 7 lb, which is helpful too. Can be supported at 5-1.

  Sand Art is chanced. US Navy Flag 3yo colt unseen for 240 days since two runs in decent turf maidens last year. Dam won on first outing on AW here at Dundalk. Upped markedly in trip to 1 mile on third maiden start. An interesting outsider.

  These 4yo and older maidens have shown very little on the racecourse so far. Andrew Slattery-trained Coulsty Exchange finished ahead of the much shorter-priced Mveve here seven days ago. The stable's runners often improve for a second start, so at 16s this filly by Coulsty is tried. She should cope with the slight step up in trip well.

  Take Heart is the likeliest winner. Well supported for the strongly respected yard of Stephen Thorne (SR 25%). Awkward start but stayed on late behind Genoah (4 lbs better terms today) 42 days ago here. Upped to 1m 4f now. Jack Kearney rides, again claiming 3 lbs. Short price in a decent race, though.

  10.5-furlong 0-60 handicap. Cala Gracioneta drops back in trip for Matthew J. Smith. Four-year-old Jukebox Jury filly has shown some staying ability at times despite never getting close to winning. Dropped a further four pounds to OR52 and has conditions to suit today.

  Church Mountain is the obvious one. Romped away with a three-length win over 1m4f last time, but has won three times over course and distance. Darragh O'Sullivan replaces Joey Sheridan, and his 7 lb claim thus offsets the handicapper's 7 lb rise. Clearly thriving a week ago, Church Mountain may be well capable of scoring again, especially if the pace is strong.

  Only ten runners, and course-and-distance winner Hitched, who was beaten just a head over the same C&D on her penultimate start, is fancied to score. Looks generously priced at 14s. There are a few useful sorts here. Talented, consistent, decent miler. Might have found seven furlongs a bit too speedy last time, just seven days ago. Good each-way shout.
