Bertutea won his maiden hurdle debut for Willie Mullins by nine lengths at Limerick on Boxing Day, asserting well over 2 miles on heavy ground. Upped in class here, but the same conditions apply, and these are still early days for these youngsters. Could run a big race.

Willie Mullins runs three, I think, in this handicap hurdle. Sysko beat Son of Anarchy in a maiden hurdle and has run some decent races in slightly easier company than this. He still could be capable from a rating of OR127. He hasn't had too many races and may be capable of progressing for a top yard. Danny Mullins rides.

A good race in prospect. Spindleberry is chanced, having won all five of her last five starts. That includes a Grade 1 win against the boys (Firefox and Champ Kiely behind at Fairyhouse in April). She goes well on soft or heavy ground. She comes here after a comfortable win in a Listed mares' chase at Doncaster last time. Interesting stepping up in trip to three miles, with some hope from pedigree that she might stay. She receives seven pounds from the geldings here. Danny Mullins rides for Willie Mullins.

Jacobs Ladder has been well backed in advance of this Listed chase, his first run in handicap company over fences. The Gordon Elliott-trained 7yo has won 4 of 11 starts under Rules. He won well at Fairyhouse in December before a solid second in a Grade 3 novice chase at Punchestown last time. A Grade 3-winning novice hurdler and not yet over-raced, he comes here looking progressive. Could easily be up to this. Jack Kennedy rides.

Charismatic Kid won his sole bumper outing by six lengths and has since moved yards to Gordon Elliott. Well supported here (second in the betting forecast) and looks likely to land the odds for Gordon Elliott, the stable having four runners in the race. Mr Harry Swan rides.

4yo filly by Ghaiyyath won three low-level staying handicaps on the turf last summer for Richard Hannon. Disappointing in her last three AW runs, but her handicap mark has dropped five pounds since her last run. Jockey Mr Lucas Murphy rode a winner on the penultimate ride. Phaedra can't be ruled out at a nice price.

Calum Rodriguez (SR 20%) rides for Harry Charlton (SR 33%). Both are in good form. Leonetto has finished second in the last three outings and has gotten closer on each occasion. Choice of all 12 pro tipsters according to the Racing Post card. Sets the standard.

Kento returns from a break of 91 days. Winner over course and distance for today's jockey Jack Doughty in March off a mark of 54, and sits at the bottom of this handicap running off OR 46. One of two Tony Carroll-trained runners.

Latin has won his last three starts, all over today's course and distance, for trainer James Owen with well-timed runs on each occasion. The front two went clear of the third last time, and a further four-pound rise may not be enough to stop this five-year-old and jockey Paddy Bradley in their bid for a four-timer.

There should be more to come from Frankali. Had two lengths to find with Athenian Spirit on the last outing but is progressing all the time and should be sharper for that first outing in handicap company. Should run well.
