Andrew Balding (SR 20%) and Oisin Murphy (SR 23%) seem to score with a big winner most Saturdays. Mehmas 3yo Star Chorus can do the honours this weekend. Looks quite well in here on a mark of 76. Winner on penultimate start who failed to get a clear run at Goodwood last time. Looks useful. Upped in grade to Class 3 now but meets less progressive rivals on good terms.

Tim Easterby trained 3 year old Fan Mail could be the answer to the Silver Cup. Ready three length winner of a maiden on the all weather in February but this Mayson gelding hasn't yet transferred the form to turf. Handicap mark has dropped and receives weight from all rivals here. It's a hopeful play but Fan Mail is an interesting entry. One emphatic win from ten career starts. The six furlongs trip at Ripon could suit well.

Cheekpieces can bring out the best in Consolidation. 3yo by Too Darn Hot was a good winner first time up in a handicap at Goodwood (7 furlongs) and ran well at Royal Ascot next time out but disappointed in what looked a very hot race at Goodwood last time. Should get a true test this time round. Rossa Ryan rides for Ralph Beckett (SR 22%). Potentially quite smart sort if can settle better.

Azure Zain looks a possible winner for Richard Fahey in the Great St Wilfrid. Pretty unexposed, this 3yo by Group 1 sprint winner Hello Youmzain out of a No Nay Never mare, has had just five races. Easy six length winner on third start at Wolverhampton, making all over six furlongs. Entitled to come on for return to action at Newmarket and looked unfancied last time out sent off at 28-1 back at Wolverhampton. Could have a big race in him here.

Witness Stand can prove the Group 2 success in the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood last time no fluke. A former course and distance winner. Billy Loughnane (SR 17%) replaces Hollie Doyle for the ride. Official ratings have this horse 7 pounds the best of these and while the weights don't favour him, form-wise Witness Stand, a 4yo by Expert Eye, is the one to beat.

Send Harry has been going close in decent handicaps and can perhaps capitalize on a fairly high draw in stall 12 here. Only three years of age, by Harry Angel. Seamie Heffernan rides. Third of sixteen in a good handicap over seven furlongs at Naas last time, and this could be an easier ask.
