Bit of a race on, with Crest of Stars being useful. Kings Champion looked useful too when producing a professional display, albeit at a low level, running away with a maiden hurdle by twelve lengths at Ayr last time out (2m4f, soft). Similar conditions, trip- and going-wise, will help today. Promising sort, selected to score for in-form trainer Olly Murphy (SR 25%) and jockey Sean Bowen (SR 28%).

Winner of a handicap hurdle at the first time of asking in 2022. Went close over 3 miles at Navan in February. Decent effort when third over 2m4f there last time, and could potentially come on for that recent outing. Barry Connell is a respected trainer, and Low Style is a player here.

Our Uncle Jack made all to win at Clonmel (2m 1f, heavy) by 23 lengths last month. Up 12 pounds, this will not be so easy, but the 10-year-old might still have a little in hand of the handicapper while in this form. Michael Kenneally claims a 4 lb allowance this time. Trainer Martin Paul Fitzgerald is perhaps a name to note, with a 30% strike rate from 10 runners this season.

Runner-up (to a Willie Mullins horse) in a bumper worth 50K on rules debut for Stuart Crawford at Punchestown in April. Has since transferred to the champion trainer, and Mr Patrick Mullins (SR 29%) is booked for the ride. Looks the obvious selection with the strongest bumper form of these runners.
