This horse has dropped down to a low handicap mark but there were more positive signs at Killarney last time out. Has gone well here in the past and while he might prefer it softer than today is still capable on this ground.

Bay Of Dreams is well drawn in stall 3 to go close in this large field handicap he was raised eight pounds for his latest win at Bellewstown but should still be competitive.

Has a lengthy absence to overcome but has gone well when fresh in the past, notably when winning on seasonal debut at Bellewstown in 2023, and at today's venue in 2024 following a near six months break. Mark ten pounds lower than for last win, and useful apprentice takes off a further seven pounds. Good draw and shouldn't be far away.

A very competitive affair in which I've moved up & down the card but one I can't seem to shake is Ian Donoghue's 5 year old Gelding BUCCANEER'S SPIRIT who 'should' appreciate the step back in trip today, a trip in which he was only 1¾ lengths off winner (& todays Rival) Bay of Dreams who is Now carrying 8lbs more. Jockey Sam Coen's 5lb claim is always very good value.

Loingseoir has won 3 of his 50 starts but has also been placed in the first 4 on 13 other occasions. He has finished 4th in 3 of his last 4 starts, including when beaten just 5 lengths at Ballinrobe last week. That 10-length distance properly stretched his stamina, so the drop back a furlong should help. He is down 1 lb here and looks like a good each-way bet with 5 places on offer.

Grey Leader is massively below its winning mark here at Galway and the return might just spark it back into life

Not shown much this year since joining this yard however was a four time winner for previous stable the last success coming off 89 12 months ago at Fairyhouse. Must have an outstanding chance off todays mark of 70.

Could outrun her odds here. Won well three runs back. Disappointed last time, having had a poor track position out wide, and drops a pound here. Has an each-way chance.
