1:52 Dundalk Tips

Been improving with each outing this year and was a running on 3rd of 13 at the Curragh in May despite being unsuited by the drop back to 6f. Ran to a similar level next time at Fairyhouse when 5th back at 7f before running to a similar level at Limerick kept to 7f. Up slightly in trip at Tipperary last time when a close 3rd. Switched to the AW here and unlikely to be far away.

Senti Qua needs improvement but that is possible as this horse is still very lightly raced, should have more to offer and she should be given every chance with this top jockey booked. The good draw for the horse is a positive factor.

All Right By Me is a 3yo gelding trained by Ross O'Sullivan and makes a second start for the stable, so should now have acclimated to his new surroundings. He is unexposed on the AW with just the one start off 67, posting a RPR of 74 (a career high), finishing 3/8 under Colin Keane in first-time blinkers (wears first-time cheekpieces today, which could have the same desired effect). The 1/8 Sunriseontheboyne has won twice since and is now rated 10lb higher, and 2/8 Amber Blossom won last time out. The 5/8 In The Minus has finished 1-2 in his last two starts. He is dropped to 7f today, which should suit as he found no extra over 8f in that career-best run at Dundalk and should be able to compete off a career-low handicap mark of 67, now back at Dundalk in new headgear, which sparked some improvement in his last and only run at Dundalk.

Cosmic Force hasn't been with this trainer for too long so he probably has a bit more to offer for this trainer. Wasn't at best form last time but he can be forgiven that as he was slow away from the stalls, always chasing after that and couldn't get involved. The slight drop in trip today may see him do better.

Have I Told You is in stall 5 and returned from a layoff when beaten 9 lengths in a 6f handicap at Wolverhampton 19 days ago after being pushed and forced out racing wide. So she should be better for that last run today. Her best effort so far came over course and distance, and she now wears cheekpieces again. Trainer John O'Donoghue's yard is ticking over nicely, and R P Whelan takes the reins. Her current mark of 66 is still 2lb above her most competitive effort, but I do not see this as being too harsh. With a fair draw and a strong pace to sit off, she could pick off a few late. She has an each-way chance if bouncing back here.

Has shown ability in three of her starts and looked as though the run was needed two starts ago at Bellewstown over 8f. But she was a major disappointment at Ballinrobe last time when upped in trip and in first-time blinkers. Makes her handicap debut here back on the AW and at a more suitable trip and looks interesting.
