Handicap and G3 winner at the end of last season signed off with a Listed win at Naas and a 2nd at the same level and course on reappearance. Close 5/9 here last time out last month, in form trainer/jockey combo of Lyons and Keane.

Won a Group 2 over 7f here back in August 2023 and went close twice in 4 starts last year, both times in Group 1s. Has gone close in 2 of her 3 starts this year. The last one came over this CD in a Group 2 last month. Big chance.

Paddy Twomey trained 4yo goes up in grade here but has won four of six starts. Hails from good sprinting stock, by Tasleet out of a Dutch Art mare. First of three last time but put that race (6f, Fairyhouse) to bed comfortably, the decent Tango Flare beaten two and half lengths. Up against more experienced sorts but brings some promise. Billy Lee rides. Drawn low in stall 1. Has been backed.

Unusual jockey booking for Songhai with W M Lordan in the saddle. Bottom weight and will go close for J P Murtagh.

Seattle is maybe not one of the yard's top string, but he improved on last season's debut run at York when winning first time out as a three-year-old. He could still be improving, and though the form of his last race may not have been much to look at, with improvement, he could certainly be involved in the finish here today.

Some solid yardsticks in here with Big Gossey thriving at the moment especially, but I think that last year's C&D maiden winner, EAST HAMPTON, could be stonking value at 14/1. He has run some cracking races over 7f since, including winning at Naas, but it's possible his optimum is this 6f. He clearly has improved from last year, and I'm looking forward to a big run.
