2024 Forego Stakes Preview
The Forego Stakes is a Grade 1 race that takes place at the Saratoga racecourse, the race is named after the horse Forego, a runner who won the American Horse of the Year award for three straight years between 1974 & 1976. The race is open to runners who are aged three or older and is run on the dirt over a distance of seven furlongs in August of each year and is seen as a good prep race for both the Breeders' Cup Sprint and Breeders' Cup Mile.
