Graphics, Music, and Sound Effects

The game’s elements have been woven together flawlessly to create this gritty and bleak setting which has the look and feel of Gotham City. Hats off to the designers who have done an excellent job of producing this dark and broody game.

Theme – Crime

The Gotham City vibe has already been mentioned, and it helps create the story of this desolate, crime-ridden city. In the background you'll see 2 scary-looking bank robbers, wearing masks, black suits, and overcoats. The grey, foreboding city skyscrapers can be seen in the backdrop as lightning flashes and a downpour of rain lashes down. A smidgen of colour is used in the game, cleverly placed on the robbers' ties and on the symbols on the reel.

You explode your way into the bonus rounds by pressing 'click to detonate' where you flip into an underground bank vault where the countdown is on to grab the loot. On the reels, the highest value character symbol is the Multipliers Wild symbol. This is then followed by the man with a green background, a robber with a red background, a robber with a yellow background, a robber with a purple background and finally the robber with a green background. The standard symbols of J, K, Q and A  follow which all have the same value.

Play Experience & First Impressions

The aspects of the Free Spins bonus rounds blended together well. The music and sound effects mixed perfectly with the game graphics. Especially the robber shooting and adding the multipliers at the end and the stopwatch showing any extra free spins awarded. The bonus rounds accelerates the speed of the game, which works well. And, importantly, the rounds are straightforward to follow. When testing out the game, several multipliers landed with some decent amounts, and the Grab' Em appeared many times as well. 

The Multipliers Gone Wild feature is a game-changer. The Multiplier symbols are Wild and can substitute for any symbol in the paytable. They also multiply the value of all Cash symbols in a 3x3 area around them if you land a Grab ‘em symbol. This means that your winnings can potentially multiply significantly. The multiplier values are applied to any winning payline they are part of. If more than one Multiplier is part of the same payline, their values are multiplied by each other before being applied to the payline. The possible multiplier values range from x2 to x25, offering ample opportunities for potential big wins. Multiplier symbols with a value of x4 or higher land with a ? and reveal their value when the Cash is collected, which is a terrific touch.

Another feature which is a highlight is the Cash Money feature where Cash symbols award a prize when collected. Cash symbols can display a value between 1x to 500x. Cash symbols are collected if a Grab ’em scatter symbol appears at the same time as at 1 or more Cash symbol so you want to see plenty of Grab' em symbols! Multiplier symbols affect all collected Cash in a 3x3 area around the symbol. If more than one Multiplier lands adjacent to a Cash symbol, the Cash value is multiplied by each adjacent Multiplier symbol, so this can add up depending on what lands.

Cash Crew stands out with its unique atmosphere, earning a perfect 10 for its portrayal of a bleak and gloomy Gotham City. The storyline weaves together with the creative elements, music, and sound effects, creating an immersive experience. The features are fun, making the game a must-try. If you're a fan of multipliers, you're in for a treat as they can really pay off during the Multipliers Gone Wild feature.

RTP is just about right for Hacksaw at 96.26%, its RTPs are solid and there has never been a game below 96.08%.
