The Chaos Crew 2 slot is the sequel to Chaos Crew and has a punk/graffiti theme. Chaotic, you join the oddball pairing Cranky Cat and Sketchy Skull make a triumphant return to their favourite graffiti-covered back alley. Dark and gritty, the neon graphics really stand out against the dark backdrop.

With Cranky Cat and Sketchy Skull on either side of the reels, Hacksaw Gaming’s most popular stars are sporting new limbs. Unique-looking, symbols on the reels include tattoo-style hearts, smiley faces, blue wings, anarchy signs and 8-balls. The higher-value symbols include dice, mouths, lightning faces, diamonds and pyramids. The pyramid symbol pays the most awarding 10 times your total bet for 5 across any payline.

Chaos Crew 2 also comes with a Cranky Cat Wild symbol. Substituting for all paying symbols above, 5 in combination pays 20 times your total bet. With several Cranky Cat Wilds landing on the same spin, their multiplier values multiply each other are then applied to your win. As mentioned above, 1 Cranky Cat Wild can appear on each reel.

Bonus 

Chaos Crew 2 focuses on the Bonus feature which is triggered when 3 Bonus Scatter symbols land anywhere during a base game spin. With 3 free spins awarded, only non-paying/blank symbols and Multiplier Scatters appear.

On top of each reel, a reel multiplier of 1x appears. Multiplier Scatters increase the value of the reel multipliers and reset the free spins tally to 3. When you run out of free spins, all reel multipliers are combined and awarded.  

During the free spins, there are several Sketch Skull and Cranky Cat Multiplier Scatters that can land. Cranky Cat Multiplier Scatters contain multipliers between 2x and 20x whilst Sketchy Skull Multiplier Scatters offer multipliers between 1x and 100x. They can affect its reel and all reels or persist on future free spins. Below are details on each of the Multiplier Scatters:

If you trigger the feature with 4 Bonus Scatter symbols, you’ll play the Super Bonus feature. It’s the same as the Bonus feature where you are guaranteed to see 7 or more Multiplier Scatter symbols on the first free spin.

Best of Bonus

Landing 3 Bonus Scatters plus 1 Best of Bonus Scatter will activate the Best of Bonus feature. You get the play the Bonus feature 3 times in a row with the best score awarded.

The Chaos Crew 2 slot, for starters, is an excellently-produced game with a unique feel graphically. The dark/graffiti backdrop is the perfect complement to the bright/neon symbols which pop out. With a gritty yet welcoming feel, the classical piano soundtrack provides quite the contrast.

With Cranky Cat Wild multipliers in the base game, the random Epic Drop will see a minimum of 5 Multiplier Scatters appear for a nice little win. Chaos Crew 2 is all about the Bonus feature or the Super version which is like a respins game where you hope to keep landing Multiplier Scatters.

With the soundtrack changing to be more up-tempo, the Epic Multiplier Scatters will be hard to come by but can send your reel multipliers soaring. The Best of features see you play the Bonus or Super Bonus feature 3 times with the best result awarded. It’s a simple feature but a welcome one that other slot studios don’t offer.

In summary, the Chaos Crew 2 slot is much better than its predecessor. With more bonus features and new Multiplier Scatters, the win potential of 20,000 times your total bet is double that of the first game. A superb game from Hacksaw Gaming which has become a cult favourite, alongside Hand of Anubis and Wanted Dead or a Wild.

The Bonus and Super Bonus features remind me of many other slots. Relax Gaming offers persistent symbols in Money Train 4 and Dead Rider’s Trail whilst Fire in the Hole 2 from Nolimit City has persistent features in the Lucky Wagon Spins feature.
